Dioxin blockade

Anti-allergic paints

The interior paint Silikat - Innenfarbe ELF 1806 by Brillux has been certified for its suitability as an anti-allergic paint in the home or workplace. The experiment measures 13 parameters with the most basic being the activation of histamine release.

Inorganic pigments

Brillux has developed a revolutionary tinting system that can meet any aesthetic requirement. This system paints all Brillux interior and exterior paints, as well as ripples, varnishes and style materials.

The uniqueness of the system, however, does not lie in the above, but in the following innovative for the Greek market: The pigments are inorganic (minerals) and not petroleum products. The yellow e.g. comes from bismuth, blue from cobalt and so on. This ensures photo- and color stability for decades. Pigments are water based and not solvent. This means that water-based paints remain water-based even after the pigments have been mixed.



The revolutionary waterproof Brillux Evocryl 200 facade paint biodegradates any liquid or gaseous, organic or inorganic pollutant, which is either deposited on it or comes into simple gas contact with it. The dirt is constantly converted into water and harmless salts that are washed away by the rain. Brillux Evocryl 200 waterproof paint contains a nanocrystalline modified form of the TiO2 (titanium dioxide) semiconductor-catalyst. Ultraviolet light constantly attracts electrons from TiO2 and thus creating in it pairs of holes (h +) and electrons (e-) forces it to synthesize from water and from OH roots - which are always on the facades - hydroxyl radicals. However, these roots are the strongest oxidizing agent after fluoride and in addition they do not pollute the environment like this. These are particularly strong oxidizing bodies, which react with all the harmful organic compounds that stain the facade, removing hydrogen and converting them into peroxide radicals. The latter triggering oxidative thermal reactions self-transform into minerals and water and leave the facade.

In addition to the possibility of destruction of pollutants and toxic substances of organic origin that soil the facade, there is also oxidation of inorganic air ions that come in contact with it (eg NO2-, CN-, S-2, S2O3-2 etc.) thus neutralizing the photochemical cloud of large cities. The great advantage is that the modified, as nanophotocatalyst, TiO2 does not participate in the reaction and thus neither the same is spent, nor does the photocatalytic self-purification ever stop or weaken.

Asbestos barrier

Brillux 200 (acrylic) and Brillux 918 (silicone) paints have been certified for their ability to bind asbestos fibers and prevent them from diffusing into the atmosphere.

The experiment simulates wind speeds of up to 100 km / h and measures the detachable asbestos fibers from the painted surfaces.
