In the holistic view of projects, saving energy, water, money and resources in general, even when it is not the main purpose of the project is always one of the important parameters. Characteristic projects are presented that highlight this dimension.
Renovation of the central heating of an apartment building
The intervention aimed to save energy and reduce the total operating costs of a central heating installation in an apartment building in Mantouki.
Air energy (renewable source) was used for this purpose. Additional savings are expected from the improvement of the facility that created the possibility of autonomous operation, cost sharing and improvement of individual and collective management.
Central heating of an apartment building
It was implemented during the installation of central heating in a renovation project of a traditional building in Garitsa and its transformation into a 13-apartment building.
The automation interventions selected were made with the aim of saving energy in order to add special added value to the investment.

Renovation of the air conditioning system in a bank
The primary goal of the intervention was to renovate the equipment of the installation and to improve the operation of the ventilation. Significant energy savings are expected with the installation of heat recovery of the exhaust air (approximately 70%).
Replacement of window frames
The intervention aimed at the renovation of an apartment in the old town of Corfu.
Window frames were selected based on, among other things, energy savings.

It concerns the thermal insulation of a roof in Kanoni in Corfu, in the context of a general renovation that included other saving interventions (installation of a solar water heater, a heat pump, etc.).
